Pom Pom Island is around 45 minutes by boat from Borneo's
coast; it has rich tropical vegetation and is surrounded by white
sand and the turquoise waters of the Celebes Sea.

There are pathways to most of these places. Scuba diving trips are
regularly organized to enjoy the amazing diving scenes. Scuba diving
Pom Pom Island is year round with the best time being between April
and December. Boat trips to the other islands can be arranged at the
resort.
The sea conditions here are slightly more unpredictable then many
favourite dive arenas on the east coast and it takes a pretty
experienced diver to enjoy the place. It's wild, it's dangerous and
it's challenging. If you're a good diver and you're in for a rush of
adrenalin, this place is for you.
The weather of Pom Pom Island remains fairly constant throughout the year,
with an average temperature around 29 degrees centigrade. Pom Pom Island
is a relaxing, easy-going getaway and most of its visitors
spend their days sunbathing, napping in hammocks or cooling off in
the clear turquoise water.
